Made in CHINA

If I were aware these were made in China, I would never, never purchased the chairs. I received my order no 1011932 today. It was easy enough to assemble. But a real chair maker would be ashamed of the quality. Sloppy joints, poor paint job. I do not know what they consider hard wood in china, but this is not what we consider hardwood. If they last two years I will be surprised. We purchased in 1980 at the Pigeon forge CB four of these rockers for our house in Gatlinburg. They sat outside for 10 years and were in great shape when we sold the house in 1990. Those I believe we're made in N C. The price was 49.00, and now you are charging 149.00 for piece of crap made in China. I bought cushions for the two chairs and was happy to see they are made in US. CB does not need to sell Chinese made products, your customers are after good food and when shopping in your store they know it is not Walmart prices. I expect the next special will be egg foo yong at the Old Chinese Country Store.

I have always wanted a pair of these chairs. In July of this year we closed on our new home. our forever home we call it after 28 years in the military. (retired)
We have them on our front porch. it is covered. They look beautiful from the road. BUT... You get up close to them. the finish is peeling off. on both of the chairs. I even brought them in when the snow came so it wouldn't sit on the wood.
very disappointed.

Buyer Beware!

Anyone considering a purchase of the Oak cracker Barrel rocker should be aware they are made in CHINA. We saw these in Arizona and the chairs had hanging tags Made in USA. After driving 200 miles out of my way in Montana to the nearest CB, and 1200 Miles later during assembly, found the infamous Made in China sticker. Buyer Beware.
