Tasty maple

Best syrup we have ever tasted, not like the phony syrups loaded with fake sweets. It complements the delicious buttermilk pancakes with a large glass of milk.

Still better than the processed syrups!

This is still pure maple syrup, it's just diluted a bit with natural cane sugar. It's still all-natural, tastes great, and way better for you than the other processed syrups you'd normally find in other restaurants. I understand the change, offering 100% pure maple to all your customers would be expensive. Reading my old Cracker Barrel 100% Pure Maple Syrup bottle I discovered it was "Maple Grove Farms of Vermont U.S. Grade A Dark Amber" in a Cracker Barrel bottle. So now I buy their syrup at my grocery store. This is my 2nd choice and I still enjoy it when I eat here.

Sneaky and in poor taste (no pun intended)

Really?!

So, instead of raising the price to reflect their cost, Cracker Barrel decided to dilute their pure maple syrup.

To make this sneaky, they now call it "100% Pure Natural Syrup". Okay, technically (or more likely legally) the cane syrup and the maple syrup are "natural," "pure," "syrup," and all this is 100%. What's even worse is the breakdown ratio: "55% Pure Maple Syrup" and "45% Cane Sugar"

What a crock! If you want to sell diluted maple syrup, fine, but just call it "syrup" and stop pretending it's "pure" or "natural".

However...WE WANT PURE MAPLE SYRUP AS AN OPTION!

I remember when Cracker Barrel advertised this as 100% pure Maple Syrup. Now it's a blend of Maple Syrup and Cane Syrup?

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Remember when it was 100% pure maple syrup?

I remember when Cracker Barrel sold bottles of pure maple syrup. At least they're using real sugar instead of corn syrup. The taste is better than Mrs. Butterworth's, but not quite how it was when it was pure maple.
