You'll receive 13 wooden rocker pieces, assembly instructions and all the hardware you'll need to assemble your chair. Tools you'll need are a hammer, rubber mallet and a screwdriver (hand or electric). Average assembly time is 45 minutes.

Disappointed

My daughters gave me 2 white rockers for Mothers Day 2013. They purchased them assembled from a local CB.

After one year the rockers are covered with a black mold which is IMPOSSIBLE to remove without removing the paint. The mold is not only on the exposed sections but underneath as well.

I don't know what kind of paint was used but I do know a primer was never applied prior to painting as the paint flakes off when washing with water and a soft sponge. Not priming outdoor wood furniture is a real "no no".

Most disappointing purchase from CB -- EVER !

White Slat Rocking Chair

My daughters purchased two white rocking chairs for me as a birthday gift two summers ago. They are garage kept for the fall/winter months starting in October through approximately April and protected under eaves in the summer yet the paint has peeled terribly. There are areas where it appears that the wood is beginning to crack. We will have to completely refinish the chairs and glue any areas that have begun cracking. I loved the chairs when I received them but already know that at some point, I will need to replace them, if not for the looks, but also for safety reasons. They just won't come from C.B.

Made in CHINA

I would not have purchased if I had known they were made in China I purchased two on line and they were easy enough to assemble. Poor quality and I don't believe the statement, " hard wood" . I seriously doubt they will last over two years. I purchased the seat and back cushions and was happy to see they are made in the US. I feel for the price you can get an Amish made chair and it will last a lifetime. Do not buy! Eat the food it is great! Mr Crackbarrell would be ashamed of this piece of Chinese junk

Missing items!

I knew, I should have listened to previous reviews. But, I figured Cracker Barrel would have fixed the problems with their warehouse.

Our rocker arrived with no instructions or hardware! We know how to put the rocker together. But, the hardware we need! think twice before you waste your time.

UPDATE!: I spoke with a Cracker Barrel CS rep. Who informed me that the rockers are shipped from the Hinkle Chair Company. I called and spoked with a Hinkle CS rep, who will mail me replacement parts for my rocker. Hope this solves my rocker problems.

Received a white rocker for our anniversary. I have always loved the rockers at CB. Unfortunately shortly after we brought it home from the store it started to mold. even washing with bleach doesn't help. It now looks gross and i will have to spend time and money sanding and repainting to make it nice again. For the price and since all the rockers are outside at the restaurant i never saw a moldly one i assumed they were weather treated. Disappointed

Missing holes
September 7, 2013
Reviewer:  GenoH

Per the instructions, I made sure all the parts were included before assembly. I didn't think to check that all the parts were made correctly! One side of the chair was missing 4 holes for the screws that hold the chair together. These are counter sunk holes located in a very specific place so it's not just a matter of drilling some holes.

Before I realized the holes were missing I attempted to install the seat section. The holes were there, but not in the right spot. I had to drill new holes to mount the seat.

Now I need to contact the company to see how they are going to handle the side piece with the missing holes. I was hoping to have this assembled for my wife's birthday - looks like she will be getting a picture of the chair instead of something to sit in.

Poorly Cut

I bought two of these chairs for wife's Christmas present. They arrived promptly but I didn't have time to assemble them until sometime later. One day while my wife was at work I opened one and spent the entire day forcing wood into poorly measured holes and enlarging other holes so the wood would fit. Do Not Buy this Junk unless it is assembled! The other one wasn't as bad but it still took a hundred hits with a rubber mallet and I still wonder if it is going to come apart when it is sat in. The quality of the product tarnishes the name of Cracker Barrel.

Sturdy Rocker

The rocker is well made. I shopped around for a while, this one is a little bit more expensive than others on the web, home improvement and outdoor furniture stores. The extra price is worth it for the quality. Farily easy to assemble, put 2 together in less than 2 hours. A few minor imperfections in the finish which is to be expected with KD furniture that is shipped. One disappointment, when I turned the seat over and there was a sticker that said Made In China.

Wonderful Rocker

I got mine for my birthday a few years back and then ordered a matching side table (should have got two!).

We love it. Recently we noticed one of the arms is pulling away from back of chair, but husband thinks it might be stripped. So far,
still working perfectly. I love the looks, from the day I first sat in them in Hilton Head, SC (that CB is no longer there, wah!).

My family has bought at least 6-8 of them, and four sit outside my sister's beauty salon in Ramona, CA. Chained to the store. The chains were cut once, and all the chairs stolen. She replaced them again with CB rockers, just like the first ones!

We are big fans of CB and their rocking chairs on the porch! I think they're building one in CA finally, but in Riverside (we're in San Diego county). Hurry, hurry, come here!! I miss my Coca Cola cake, my Chicken n Dumplin's, and pancakes and so on.

NOT HAPPY

I recieved my two white rockers for Christmas 2011 from my children. By Feb. the paint was coming off. I made three phone calls to Columbia Mo. Cracker Barrel they forwarded me on to company , NO ONE wanted to take responsibility , I truely believe I received bad rockers. I have not tryed to repaint them as of yet. They are very comfortable but because of the paint chips sticking to your clothes they are not usable. I would have liked to get a better response from company.
